  wanted to there a few times, I thought have a cup of good quality coffee , however not really , but nice cake. Staff was unfriendly.

  Travelled to meet a friend, so hoping for a lovely time. The flat white coffee was like expresso, and luke warm. Two small scones which were hard, and I had to ask for them to be heated. Cream was from an aerosol can. When Noah took scones to be heated he/she didn't bring them back. Not recommended.

  Went to Shingle Inn for lunch & we know the business from the East coast so felt like we knew what to expect… sadly, not so. After ordering we had quite a wait, but ok, we had time. I ordered bruschetta & partner ordered eggs beni. I wondered when the avocado was sliced on my toast but knew it, I couldn’t put my fork through it it was so unripe I wasn’t able to eat it. My partners eggs were hard & his toast was even harder! Fair go guys - $40 for a light meal, mine consisted of toast, tomato & feta crumbs. When I told a staff member she took it behind the counter where they all had a laugh about it, very disappointed in the attitude displayed.

  Went for breakfast staff member at till did not speak, did not acknowledge me. We ordered the Eggs Benny on the croissant with soft poached eggs ( runny ) , food was served, Poached eggs one was hard boiled, one just under hard boiled, returned plate of food to have re done, waitress brought out my plate, one of the old eggs was still on my plate, they only redid one egg, rest of food was cold.
  
  Will not return do not recommend.

  We ordered a flat white and a hot chocolate both oat milk. We received it, both drinks where so weak and that flat white was anything but flat. Both drinks where watery and tasted horrible.
  
  No spoons and we had to ask for marshmallows. As we where very dissatisfied we asked for another to be made.
  
  We received it, the hot chocolate was ok but the flat white was horrible. Staff where unfriendly and no apology.
  
  We ended up just asking for a refund for the flat white as it still tasted horrible.

  Best little cafe with excellent staff, friendly and quick service. Food is prepared perfectly no matter which dish and they are happy to accomodate menu variations. These guys make the best "dirty chai".
